Claude Code relaunches Projects to run multiple cloud AI agents

54Story + reactionsProduct capability update, framed as expanded functionality

Anthropic has relaunched the Projects feature in Claude Code, allowing users to run multiple AI agents simultaneously in the cloud under a shared memory, goals, and file library. Each project uses parallel threads handled by individual Claude Code cloud sessions, with a coordinator agent managing the work across branches.

Claiming AI COULD harm everyone is hypothesis that can never be proven wrong. That's not a great indicator of something being true.

I care less about a pretty first answer and more about a loop that treats "tests/logs disagree" as unfinished work.

  • its always the devs leaving the door open like when my roleplay bot started ignoring limits after an update, they just forgot the guardrails again.

  • We need to learn to close the damn door.

  • I wouldn't dismiss that possibility either. Fear has always been an extremely effective way to make people accept levels of control they would reject under normal circumstances. What worries me is that we may not even need a manufactured crisis.

  • Isn't either way everyone already using free open source models? I thought LM studio and comfyUI are already staples in any content/software development.

  • Memory is durable whether or not it's correct. If the wrong attribution had been written down as settled, every later session would have inherited it as fact and re-run nothing.

  • I don't use them for vibe coding, that still can't produce anything useful. For real speeding up development work, they are plenty good enough. Basically an overcharged Auto-Complete.

  • in an ever expanding and improving project, what worked today, may not fit tmro.

  • In time the test quality consistanty including the CI will start to improve also.
